Homework Help and Tutoring

Our homework help and tutoring services provide individual assistance with daily assignments, group learning projects targeting specific educational areas by age or subject matter, and literacy support in conjunction with the America Reads initiative. Parents and teachers are encouraged to share with staff areas in which a child needs specific attention or assistance.

Computer Learning/Technology Centers

Our computer learning program provides basic and advanced training on the use of computers and group learning projects such as computer graphics, web design and stop motion animation.

Our arts and crafts programs provide age appropriate activities for creative expression in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpting, jewelry making, and journaling among others. Projects related to the seasons, holidays or historical events are offered throughout the year.

Youth for Unity, one component of our arts and crafts programming, helps members better understand cultural diversity and appreciate themselves and others as unique and special individuals through a series of planned educational and artistic activities.

Sports and Recreation

A full range of team sports, clinics and sports related activities are offered indoors in our gyms and outdoors in neighboring parks based on age and season. Weight training equipment is also available for members over 14.

Dance

Members can learn a variety of dance skills and moves as they are introduced to a range of styles and eras, including jazz, swing, rock, hip-hop, reggae, Latin, and African dance. Our dance groups occasionally are invited to perform at events and functions. Additional fees may apply.
