Ms. Jacobs has served on the board since August 2015 which included a period as Vice President. Ms. Jacobs succeeds former President, Jamie Deustch. When describing her goals for the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle, Ms. Jacobs says, “I deeply value the mission of this amazing institution and its impact on the children in our community. My priority is to continue to develop the board as we embark on a strategic plan for the Club. We are at a pivotal juncture in the organization. Our programs have grown and deepened, so it is critical that we provide strong governance from individuals with varied backgrounds and skills who can continue to help us serve the kids who need us most.”
Ms. Jacobs is Vice President at USI Insurance Services. She has been an engaged member of the New Rochelle community working in leadership and fundraising roles with various New Rochelle PTAs, was a former District 11 candidate for the Westchester County Legislature, and has directed children’s programming through the public schools and her church. Ms. Jacobs brings a wealth of experience in human resources, as well as an understanding of the New Rochelle community.
